I'd say you should think about the purpose. Is it primarily to catalog or curate? Do you have resources to do both? My approach is to curate rather than catalog, based on my available resources. I find that having a core publishing philosophy is good as a north star when you have to make these revamps. You're doing an insane volume of content. That can become a challenge if you're not clear on your intent.
