Kia Ora Team!
We’re speeding through February, which for me means Summer is nearly over and it’s about to get naff again, though on the plus side that means more games will be coming out soon and the excuse to play them lines up. As I write, i’m currently moving house so forgive me if this edition is a bit on the brief side.
However, as always this is the Reconnect Recap, a weekly newsletter that highlights some of the greatest articles in games writing to show up on Reconnect, in the past week.
Let’s get recapping!
If you’re on Bluesky, I’ve made a starter pack so that you can follow all the Reconnect writers in one spot. Not 100% complete yet but I’ll keep adding to it.

Something Extra
I am a big fan of books written by those in the industry and have featured many books over the course of this newsletter. The next book on my radar is by Aftermath’s Nathan Grayson which they started planning back in 2020 and covers a variety of interviews with Twitch streamers and their personal experiences with their job and the platform they work on.
Find it on Amazon or wherever you like to get books.
