The whole goal of Reconnect is to celebrate the games writing community, to remind the world that games writing isn’t dead.
When I used to write for other companies, I thoroughly enjoyed chatting and talking with my fellow writers.
Nothing brought me more joy than seeing someone new come into the space, smash out some amazing articles, then announce that they had moved onto bigger and better writing opportunities at places liked IGN.
I love having a writing community to be around, love seeing other people prosper, and love seeing people help each other.
It’s been a while since I had a community like that, and seeing I’m at the wheel of Reconnect I thought, why not try and start one myself.
So, if you’re interested in being part of the Reconnect community, you don’t have to be a writer, anyone and everyone is free to join the discord linked below.
I don’t know what we’re going to do, but i’m excited to see where it takes us.
